MAAC Monday: Seeding scenarios, stat leaders, power rankings

The next-to-last MAAC Monday of the season takes a look at scenarios for each team as they relate to seeding possibilities for next week's MAAC Tournament, then refreshes stat leaders and power rankings. Ten seeds are still to be determined, with only Monmouth having locked up their fate in Albany. Here's how everyone else shakes out:

Seeding Scenarios for MAAC Tournament

Monmouth: Has already clinched regular season MAAC championship. Hawks will be #1 seed in MAAC Tournament, and will face winner of #8/#9 game on Friday, March 3 at 7 p.m.

Saint Peter's: Can clinch a first-round bye with a win, OR a loss by either Canisius or Fairfield. Peacocks can finish anywhere from #2 to #6 seed.

Iona: Can clinch a first-round bye with a win, OR a loss by either Canisius or Fairfield. Gaels can finish anywhere from #2 to #6 seed.

Siena: Can clinch a first-round bye with a win. Saints can finish anywhere from #2 to #6 seed.

Canisius: Has not clinched anything yet. Golden Griffins can finish anywhere from #2 to #7 seed.

Fairfield: Has not clinched anything yet. Stags can finish anywhere from #3 to #8 seed.

Rider: Has not clinched anything yet. Broncs can finish anywhere from #5 to #9 seed.

Quinnipiac: Is assured of competing in an opening-round game on Thursday, March 2. Bobcats can finish no higher than #6 seed, and no lower than #9 seed.

Niagara: Is assured of competing in an opening-round game on Thursday, March 2. Purple Eagles can finish no higher than #8 seed, and no lower than #11 seed.

Manhattan: Is assured of competing in an opening-round game on Thursday, March 2. Jaspers can finish no higher than #8 seed, and no lower than #11 seed.

Marist: Is assured of competing in an opening-round game on Thursday, March 2. Red Foxes can finish no higher than #9 seed, and no lower than #11 seed.
