  1. Regarding BYU, you missed the mark big time! 6'11" Eric Mika, consensus top 3 big in the nation last year from national champion Lone Peak High, is a beast and may be BYU's best player. What everyone who has seen them work out together knows, Mika is already playing above the level of Clipper's rookie Brandon Davies.

  2. Big cheer to Coach Massiello & staff for a great 4 year run. FYI: SHANE RICHARDS #0, DID HAVE a concrete offer from MONMOUTH prior to signing w MANHATTAN JASPERS. SHANE has been the most unselfish player u will ever see. A gentleman, on/off the court, yet tough as nails, he has demonstrated since freshman year 2012-2013, that he is NOT A ZERO, having shocked fans/opponents at Barclay Center game, with 18 points, all 3's. Shane has developed his game, over the 4 years: to drive, lay up, draw fouls, pull down rebounds, oh & yeah, quite the defender! Being humble in accepting kudos, he had become a favorite of not only JASPER NATION, but of coaches, players & fans from opposing teams. I know that he will continue to shine. We all hope to watch him play with "The Big Boyz"!

  3. Good article Jay. Monmouth wants to win championship and head to NCAAs very badly, of course everyone does but they have fallen short the past two years. A Monmouth-Iona final Monday night would be neat to witness, Monmouth might find it tough to beat Iona a third time this year.
