“I thought (Creighton) did a really good job of using their size to their advantage. I thought (Josh) Dix and (Blake) Harper made some really big plays and just used their size against us every time we tried to get a stop. You gotta give those two credit, they played really well.”
On three-point shooting and working inside:
“We had our opportunities at the rim. I thought (Jasen) Green did two really good wall-ups towards the end, but we had our opportunities. It was nothing to do with offense, it was totally just abysmal defense.”
On looking more at the defense:
“I thought we took some bad shots in the first half when we had a good run going, and I thought we were playing good defensively early. I thought we took some bad shots in the first half that kind of just let them get back into it, so I thought our offense in the first half was the issue. But defensively, you can’t give up 13 offensive rebounds to a great, determined team. You’ve got no chance.”
On the team taking accountability:
“Yeah. We gotta bounce back from that, yeah.”
