  1. No contest,Coach of The Year is Christian of Siena !He took a
program reeling under Jimmy Patsos and made it respectable again!
Cluess Has been well established for years at Iona, and though he
did a nice job bringing them back later in the season, the kudos
for coaching goes to Jamien Christian !

  2. Yes, Cluess took #1 seed in the MAAC, BUT...he didn’t have a winning season and retained starters from last year. I think Jamian Christian did a better job. Winning season, when predicted to finish last. Lost all starters from last year. Got the absolute most out of every player. Started 2 freshmen...and 3 seniors who didn’t get much playing time in their last 3 seasons. That’s coaching!,

  3. Cluess lost his top player weeks before the season, his top transfer hadnt played since 5th game of season, and basically played with a 6 man rotation all year and STILL won the conference. COY

  4. Darius Hines should be on the all-rookie team ahead of Seymour. Seymour only chucked up 3 pointers and did not rebound or play D given his height. Hines ran the point for Marist and played really well up until the last couple of games of the season.

  5. Seymour had 12 rebounds, 1 block, 3 assists, 4 2-pt FGs total in 18 MAAC games to go along with his 8.8 PPG. That's 12 rebounds, 1 block, 3 assists in 18 games, not average for each game. C'mon, for a guy 6'9" how can that be all-rookie. Hines from Marist should have been on the all-rookie team. Ndefo from St. Peter's came on at the end of the year too, so he could have been on there instead of Seymour. More pro-Siena bias.....
